In our hyper-connected world, there are increasing demands on our attention, and there’s more great content available to us than ever before.
Understanding these demands on your time and your myriad options on how to spend it, I’m grateful for your interest in Flyover Stocks. We recently passed 2,000 subscribers in just over six weeks and add more daily.
Thank you for liking, sharing, and subscribing to Flyover Stocks content. Your comments below articles and in emails have been what I hoped for in this community - thoughtful, courteous, and engaging - a rare sight in today’s online forums.
In a relatively short period, we’ve:
Covered several important and under-discussed investing topics, including position sizing and knowing when to sell a stock.
Scratched the surface on moat analysis by defining what we mean by “moat” and addressing how the network effect moat source can unravel.
Looked at management stewardship and how the C-suite at companies allocates capital in ways that can widen or narrow the company’s moat.
Profiled two Flyover Stocks in Worthington Industries (WOR) and Howdens Joinery (LON: HWDN) and analyzed the moat, management, risks and opportunities, and valuations of each.
I’m delighted with the traction we’ve built at Flyover Stocks. It’s time to take it to the next phase.
Premium version
While I will continue writing free content, starting Monday, October 2nd, only premium members will receive my complete research reports.
The first paid Flyover Stock profile will be released Tuesday, October 3rd, at 9 AM Eastern Time.
The annual price will be $513 per year. Why $513? Frankly, I debated between $499 and $549, and my hometown of Cincinnati’s area code is 513, which made the decision easy.
Pricing is an inexact science.
If you subscribe now, you’ll lock in that $513 rate for the life of the subscription, even if prices go up.
During the year, I will provide 12 new Flyover Stock ideas (about $43 per company write-up), plus some exclusive content, including conversations reserved for paid members.
If you’re unsure what a typical stock write-up will look like, please see the Worthington and Howdens Joinery reports.
The monthly price will be $79, meaning the annual subscription saves you $435 annually.

What I can do
My objective with the premium version of Flyover Stocks is to provide you with the service I would want if I were the subscriber. Namely, well-researched actionable ideas on overlooked companies with economic moats led by thoughtful stewards of shareholder capital.
We’ll continue to look globally for ideas at Flyover Stocks, but I will focus on companies in markets accessible to most subscribers.
Each report will feature a company consistent with my investment philosophy.
You may find only some ideas initially compelling. Still, any company featured on Flyover Stocks deserves a place on your watchlist if you’re a long-term, quality-focused investor like me.
What I can’t do
The premium version of Flyover Stocks may not be the right place for you if any of the following apply:
You want insights into large, well-known companies.
You want micro-cap (<$100 million market cap) ideas.
You want trading ideas.
You want rolling commentary on markets and macroeconomics.
If you’re looking for any of these sort of services, please let me know, and I can refer you to quality newsletters that deal with those topics.
How we’ll measure success
I’ll measure success in the premium version of Flyover Stocks by the value provided to you. Value can come in the form of performance from an idea you picked up from this newsletter, but it can also take the form of education, community, and entertainment.
If you receive interesting stock ideas, engage with other thoughtful investors, and improve as an investor because of this service, I hope you will consider this money well spent and not think twice about renewing when the time comes.
I will publish a new Flyover Stock profile tomorrow, October 3rd at 9 AM Eastern Time. Only paid members will receive the full report, which includes moat and management analysis, risks and opportunities overview, and valuation discussion.
If you have any questions about the premium launch, please let me know either by email, on Twitter, or in the comments below.
Thank you again.
Stay patient, stay focused.
Todd
