One of my regrets is missing promising signs of great businesses right under my nose in Ohio - Chemed, Cintas, Installed Building Products, and Medpace, among others.

To combat the recurrence of that risk and better use my advantage of being in flyover country, I am making a point to visit more local companies going forward.

On Thursday, I drove to Columbus to tour Worthington Enterprises' pressure cylinder factory and meet management.

I apologize for the lack of photos. Phones weren't allowed inside the factory for safety reasons, and it didn't cross my mind to take pictures outside.

The pressure cylinder factory I visited was a few miles from corporate headquarters and is on the same lot as some spun-off Worthington Steel operations, including a machining shop that Worthington Enterprises still uses at an arm’s length.
